For Counselors, Therapists & Social Workers
As an agency striving to achieve our mission of "healing hearts and changing lives," we understand your desire to help those with whom you work move beyond their pain and difficulties - to live a more fulfilling life.
Bethesda has developed a model to help individuals of all ages and backgrounds heal emotional wounds caused by those who hurt or offended them. It is not a replacement for existing successful therapeutic models; it just provides a simple approach for individuals and families who are trying to understand and trust the therapeutic process.
In short, we have "translated" the therapeutic language for the public at large - helping to increase the trust level between therapists and clients.
The process is summed up in our Four Steps to Emotional Healing, a therapeutic journey that can help you become more effective in your work - providing you a strategic plan for clients to work through their pain and achieve emotional and relational healing.
We offer continuing education opportunities for counselors, therapists and social workers as well as resources to use in your work.  Call or email us if you would like further information.
"The method is well organized and is laid out in a natural progression of relationship healing, beginning with an understanding of the sequence of relational hurt and the path to dealing with that pain.  The method has provided critical support to me as I assist the children on their path to healing. The method leads parents and children to accountability for their own actions, and a commitment to heal and restore their important relationships. I have applauded my client's victory as they heal and, when possible, restore their relationships."
